Have been trying the Wim Hof Method for a few days now. It is interesting. One surprising effect today was it fixed a knot in my neck that had been bothering me, haha. I think it was because I was lying down so the deep breathing was "massaging" my back and neck.

hey Nish,

happy Dashain and good luck with grad school applications. I don't know if you've considered Europe but I would definitely recommend https://ellis.eu/de/news/ellis-phd-program-call-for-applications. They have certain universities that don't require masters.

On a funny note I also recently suffered a broken wisdom tooth problem and get them taken out soon >_<. How's the pain and is it possible to work on the computer despite it?

Thanks for the ELLIS link I will check that out (** insert procrastination here ** haha).

I had considered Europe a year back. But then...fell into, yet another, advice trap from a lot of people (I'd say from all ).

Oh. You'd better do the treatment soon. Hope it's not an abnormal case.

Before pandemic, I had to remove one. It was quite a painful experience because my teeth was broken badly, decaying. So, they had hard time grabbing it for removal. Luckily this time, the other teeth was half broken. So, they simply cemented the parts (the decay was about to touch the roots).

I have realized that the main reason for those broken teeth was my hardcore chewing-the-gum habit. I'd almost chew for 3+ hours straight trying to curb my stress. So, it made the teeth brittle..(Grinding the teeth -- you might know already -- is not a healthy habit I guess)

Right now, it's alright. Sometimes, while chewing harder things, it almost gives pain in the filled part. But, there isn't decay as the doctor says. :)

Again! Take care of the teeth. One thing that gives trouble with maturity. Haha. (Not that I am that old...but then....that's that... you know how it goes... **grinds the teeth**)

Well, the pandemic and Trump's recent actions have clearly made the US a very disagreeable place. Let's hope this election changes that !

I'm not sure if it's the gum. Some say it's good for the teeth https://www.ada.org/en/member-center/oral-health-topics/chewing-gum

"The physical act of chewing increases salivary flow in the mouth; if chewed after eating, the increased salivary flow can help neutralize and wash away the acids that are produced when food is broken down by the bacteria in plaque on teeth."

Unfortunately, I have to get both of them out because the other one started decaying too. But doc says its a normal procedure so it's gonna be fine :)

you too remember to brush and floss ! I think none of this would have happened if i flossed lol
