thanks for writing Nish and I really appreciate how you have been putting these out every week. This was another interesting topic that I never consciously pondered upon. Also, I realize that this is a big commitment of your time, and not every week is easy. Maybe sometime around you could share how you're doing this even in your busiest saddest of weeks (other than ok I just do it) and whatever it is that makes you read an article from 2004. Would be fun :)

Thank you. Ya... Glad that you are curious to know how I put out these. I am also perplexed how I can push myself.... as I have bootstrapped myself...mostly I "learn" without any intention... I just try to read "mindfully". At least that's the plan in my head...like progressive reading, jotting down my thoughts on topics mentioned and such... which I used to lack long before I started the newsletter...I guess everything comes with trade-offs, one way or the other. I am really glad that you are finding these letters hopeful. Again, there isn't any "workflow"ish kind of habit. Sometimes, the letters stem from my frustration from many things...without having anyone to talk to... It's like talking with myself in 3rd person (Illeism)... I guess I will (thinking in future tense) write about it, now you have mentioned it. I did try putting out my reading habit in my podcast (which is getting attenuated these days) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sg2zkXZvNUs Thanks for sticking around to all of the absurd thoughts I've been having. I really hope you wouldn't get bored with my repetitive "negative motivation". :) Your comment made my day. (TBH, I rarely get any comment..haha...so anything like that motivates me....)

PS: Weekends get stressful while writing these, especially longforms. In one sitting, I try to pull in what I read for the week and filter out what resonates the most with me. Probably, there aren't any coherent thoughts. Just stitches of what I consume and what I think about those consumptions...

Glad my little comment made your day :) we need more engagement in this place

Damn, I couldn't imagine sacrificing my weekends like that ! I hope you at least have your Sundays free :) honestly negative motivation is totally my style. Motivation in any form does take you places and perhaps without realizing it you've come to a point where you can say 'Ya know I have this newsletter and maintain it alongside my fulltime job'. Your newsletter inspires me to of course think on my own about the topics that come up and is also a reminder that I should organize my own thinking and the things I consume online, do it mindfully as you mentioned
